What actually kills a fence out here
Two things: sun and post movement. Perris gets months of direct UV that chalks paint and dries out wood until it splits and twists. And the same expanding soil that cracks concrete moves posts that were not set deep enough or in enough concrete.
Both are fixable at install. Vinyl solves the sun problem outright, and post depth solves the movement problem. Neither can be fixed afterward without pulling the fence.
Fencing and the rest of the yard
Fence work usually comes attached to something else. The fence line is where the turf edge dies, where the rock border runs, and where a retaining wall often sits underneath.
If you are on a corner lot or fronting a street in Villages of Avalon or Monument Ranch, the HOA usually has rules about height, color and setback. Start that approval early.

Vinyl, and only vinyl, because that is what we do well. For wrought iron or a block wall we will point you at someone who does that all day rather than learning on your yard.
How deep do the posts go?
Deep enough for the height of the fence and the soil, set in concrete. In Perris ground, shallow posts are the reason fences lean.
Who owns the fence between me and my neighbor?
Usually shared, and usually a conversation worth having before we start. We are happy to walk it with both of you.
Do you do the turf and the fence together?
Yes, and it is cheaper that way. Post holes get dug before the lawn goes down instead of through it.
